Genus Bufoceratias


Summary:
A diceratiid genus with females having the follow characters: pterygiophore of illicium embedded beneath skin of head, illicium emerging from dorsal surface of head at rear of skull, illicial trough shallow; distance between point of emergence and symphysis of upper jaw greater than 30% SL; dermal spinules minute.
