Summary:

Overall greyish-white with a small vertically elongate oval-shaped black spot on tail base, and a narrow vertical black bar below eye. The species lacks a black spot on the first dorsal fin, has 6-10 short cheek spines and no filamentous spines in first dorsal fin.
