Distribution	Recorded in Australia from Osprey Reef, Coral Sea (13°49'S) and Yonge Reef, QLD (14°36'S). Elsewhere in the tropical, central Pacific - Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands. Inhabits inshore sandy areas on coral reefs.
