Remarks |
Günther mentioned Cristiceps antinectes in a footnote relating to Cristiceps argentatus (= Clinitrachus argentatus from the Atlantic). He noted that Australian specimens had 'twenty-three soft rays in the anal fin'. In a footnote, he added 'Those who consider this variety as a separate species may call it Cristiceps antinectes.' |
