Genus Aetobatus


Summary:

A genus of eagle rays with a deeply notched nasal curtain,  a single row of chevron-shaped teeth in both jaws, pectoral fins with broadly rounded free rear tips, and pectoral fins separate from the rostral lobe, joining the head at level of the eye.
