Distribution

Occurs at the Australian territory of Ashmore Reef in the Timor Sea. Inhabits protected current-swept reef flats, aggregating in loose groups of various sizes, in depths to about 4 metres.

Species Citation

Glyphisodon oxyodon Bleeker 1858, Acta Soc. Scient. Indo-Neerland 3: 14. Type locality: Celebes (= Sulawesi).
