Distribution

Known from the South Tasman Rise, Tasmania and off Albany, Western Australia, in depths of 410-1200 m. Elsewhere the species is circumglobal in the Southern Ocean and cold temperate waters of the Southern Hemisphere (from 31 to 60 deg S).
