More Info

Distribution

Known in Australia from mid to outer reefs on the Great Barrier Reef, and inshore reefs of Western Australia, but rarely from the Coral Sea and Timor Sea. On the outer reefs T. readerae seems to prefer back reef leeward areas.

Etymology

The species is named for Sally Reader, of the Australian Museum, in appreciation of the many years she has spent painstakingly gathering, analyzing and documenting data on Trimma for DFHoese’s research program, some of which has been used in the present paper.
