A brownish-pink goby with dark brown first dorsal fin and pelvic fins, no scales, tiny eyes, and separated pelvic fins.

Recorded in Australia from Lindeman Island to Moreton Bay, QLD. Occurs elsewhere in the tropical, Indo-west-central Pacific. Inhabits burrows with thalassinid shrimps.


Dorsal fin VI + 14-15; Anal fin 13-14; Pectoral fin 16-17.
Pelvic fins not united; scales completely absent on head and body; second dorsal and anal fins without spines; body depth 4.5-4.9 in SL.


A highly specialised herbivore - feeds on seagrass.
