Distribution |
Shark Bay, Western Australia, to Shoalwater Bay, Queensland. Inhabits shallow inshore rocky and coral-rock reefs, with sand, rubble and sandy-mud substrates. The species occasionally occurs in estuaries and near mangroves. |
