Summary:
A semi-transparent goby covered in fine dark speckling, with a brown stripe on side of snout, and internal brown, dash-like markings with white or yellow pigment along the upper edge of the vertebral column.

Distribution |
Recorded in Australia from Ashmore Reef and Cartier Reef, Timor Sea, and the northern part of the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland. Occurs elsewhere in the tropical, west Pacific. Inhabits coastal reef slopes, usually on barrel sponges. |
