Summary:
A pale greyish to yellowish dottyback with a bluish upper head and back, a bluish dorsal fin becoming yellow towards the rear with a dark blue spot on the front of the fin.

Distribution |
Known from the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland and reefs in the Coral Sea. Inhabits sandy areas around rocky and coral outcrops. |
Biology |
Dottybacks are protogynous hermaphrodites, and form small harems with a dominant male and several females. |
