Similar Species |
The similar Pseudoscopelus paxtoni has very long premaxillary teeth, with the anterior teeth reaching to the opposite side of the closed mouth, vs. premaxillary teeth not reaching to the opposite side of the closed mouth in P. altipinnis. |
