Distribution |
West of Darwin to the Arafura Sea, Northern Territory. Elsewhere the species occurs in the tropical, Indo-Pacific. A benthopelagic and mesopelagic species inhabiting depths of 130-300 m during the day, migrating to depths of 10-200 m at night. |
Feeding |
Feeds mostly on feeds mainly on copepods and crustacean larvae. |
