Summary:
A pale reddish grubfish becoming whitish below, with a pale blue snout with diagonal yellow lines and two rows of indistinct pale red blotches along the sides ending in two distinct dark red spots on the tail base.

Distribution

 Recorded from northwestern Australia. Found elsewhere in the Indo-West Pacific, including the Arabian Gulf, South China Sea, Indonesia, Philippines and Taiwan.

Fisheries

 Taken as incidental bycatch in commercial trawls.
