Summary:
A pale greyish to greyish-brown blenny with yellowish-brown, reddish to black spots on the head and dark blotches along the sides. Horned blennies have a broad blunt snout, and a multilobed tentacle above both eyes.

Recorded from Darnley Island, QLD to Bermagui, southern NSW. The species occurs elsewhere in New Caledonia and the Solomon Islands. Inhabits estuaries and coastal bays, often on jetty pylons. |
