Off Christmas Island in the Australian EEZ. Elsewhere the species is circumglobal on the continental slope (except the eastern Pacific). |
Etymology |
The species was presumably named for H. Brunswig, the first officer aboard the research vessel Valdivia, during the expedition that collected the type specimen. |
