Summary:
A pale dragonet with dark spots on the tail and brown mottling on the back. Males have two filamentous spines at the beginning of the dorsal fin, while females have a single filamentous spine.

Distribution

Endemic to Western Australia from Esperance to north of Broome, and also on offshore reefs on the North West Shelf. Inhabits sandy and silty bottoms.
