Possibly on the Northwest Shelf, Western Australia. Elsewhere the species occurs in the northern and Western Indian Ocean.

Species Citation

Arnoglossus polylepis Alcock 1889, Journal of the Asiatic Society of Bengal 58(23): 290, Pl.16 (fig.1). Type locality: Off east coast of Sri Lanka, 6°06'30"N, 81°23'E, Investigator station 59, depth 32 fathoms.
