Genus Harriotta


Summary:

A genus of spookfishes with a depressed, flattened snout, surfaces of tooth plates with ridges or rounded knobs, and the upper margin of caudal fin without denticles. Snout long, about twice length of pelvic fin, dorsoventrally flattened and pointed; tooth plates broad anteriorly; anal fin absent.
