Distribution

Off the Great Barrier Reef, from Southern Small Detached Reef to Saumarez Reef on the Marion Plateau, Queensland, at 838–881 m depth.

Species Citation

Parmaturus bigus Séret & Last 2007, Zootaxa 1657: 32, figs 6-7. Type locality: South of Saumarez Plateau, 22°56'S, 154°21'E, Queensland, Australia, depth 590-606 m.
