Distribution

Endemic to southern Australia, from the Solitary Islands, New South Wales, to off Perth Western Australia.

Biology

Assumed oviparous. Largest known female 64.5 cm total length (TL); smallest mature male 53.5 cm TL; smallest free-swimming individual 19.3 cm TL.
