Summary:
A cucumberfish with black-and-white-patterned dorsal and caudal fins, small brown blotches along the midside, a smaller brownish saddle behind the adipose fin, and a pale mouth.

Off Cape Moreton, Queensland, to off central New South Wales, and the Brittania Seamount, Taupo Seamount and Derwent-Hunter Guyot, in the Tasman Sea, and the Lord Howe Rise and the Norfolk Ridge in the Tasman Sea. Elsewhere the species occurs in New Zealand. |
