Offshore reefs of north-western Australia (Rowley Shoals and Scott Reef), Ashmore Reef, Timor Sea, and Cocos (Keeling) Islands and Christmas Island. Elsewhere the species occurs in the tropical, Indo-west-central Pacific. |
