Summary:
A bluish-brown to green mullet with silvery sides and abdomen, dusky spots on the upper scale rows forming indistinct longitudinal stripes, a dark blue tip on the dorsal fin and upper caudal-fin lobe, anal, pelvic and pectoral fins yellow, and a dark blue spot at the top of the pectoral-fin origin. The scale in the axil of the pectoral fin is very long.
