Distribution	Little Turtle Island, northeast of Port Hedland, Western Australia, to Karumba, Queensland. Elsewhere the species occurs in New Guinea.
Species Citation	Achirus jaubertensis Rendahl 1921, Kongliga Svenska Vetenskaps-Academiens Nya Handlingar, Stockholm 61(9): 16. Type locality: 45 nautical miles west-southwest of Cape Jaubert, WA, 72 feet.
