Off north Western Australia. Elsewhere the species occurs in the Indo-west-central Pacific: Madagascar to Indonesia east to Sala-y-Gomez Ridge and Chile, north to southern Japan and Hawaiian Islands, south to northern Australia and New Caledonia. |
