Colour |
In preservative: dorsal background uniformly yellowish to pale brown, skin covered with tiny chromatophores; ventral surface uniformly pale; all fins translucent; no colour patches on dorsal surface of disc and sides of tail. Fresh colour unknown. |
Etymology |
The species is named "after Mark McGrouther, the former collection manager of the Australian Museum, Sydney, for his great contribution in assisting our studies and his friendship". |
