Distribution |
From off central Western Australia, to the Arafura Sea and Timor Seas, and from off Cape York, Queensland, to off central New South Wales. Elsewhere the species circumglobal in equatorial to warm temperate waters of the Atlantic and Indo-west Pacific. |

Feeding |
Mostlikely feeds on mesopelagic fishes and some crustaceans. |
