NW of the Dampier Archipelago to the Arafura Sea, NNE of the Cobourg Peninsula, Northern Territory. Elsewhere, the species occurs in the Indo-Pacific, from the Gulf of Aden and the Bay of Bengal, to Western Australia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and the South China Sea, Philippines, and New Caledonia. |
