Summary:
A bluish-grey dwarfgoby with a greyish cheek, 3-4 rows of large orange blotches on the head and body, with the uppermost row forming saddles along the back.

Distribution

Ashmore Reef, Timor Sea, and the northern Great Barrier Reef, and reefs in the Coral Sea to One Tree Island, Queensland. Elsewhere the species occurs in the tropical, east Indo-west-central Pacific.
This solitary species shelters on caves and crevices.

Trimma annosum Winterbottom 2003, Zootaxa 218: 2, figs 1-2. Type locality: Cagilai Island, off Ovalau Islands, Viti Levu, Bau Waters, Fiji.
