Genus Centrophorus

Summary:

Medium-sized (to 1.7 m) bottom-dwelling sharks found worldwide on the continental shelf.  Six species are known from Australian waters. Populations of many species have been overfished, including two Australian species - Centrophorus harrissoni and C. zeehaani.
