Genus Kimberleyeleotris

Summary:
A genus of gudgeons that is similar to Hypseleotris, differing in having vomerine teeth, reduced scales, a slightly larger mouth and a different pattern of head papillae (Hoese & Allen 1987)
The genus contains two species and both are endemic to the Kimberley region of Western Australia.
