Summary:
A small rabbitfish with a labyrinth-like pattern of narrow brown markings, mottled fins, and often 4-5 irregular pale bars on the caudal peduncle.

Distribution

Carnarvon to Exmouth Gulf, WA, and from the northern Great Barrier Reef, Torres Strait, to Moreton Bay, QLD, also in the Coral Sea. Occurs elsewhere in the tropical, east-Indo-west-central Pacific.
