Distribution

 Introduced from West Africa via the aquarium trade and found in Ludmilla Creek, Fannie Bay Racecourse, Darwin, Northern Territory, and Cairns and the Ross River, Townsville, Queensland. The species may have been eradicated from the Northern Territory.
