Genus Schuettea
Summary:
Mouth reaching almost to below centre of eye
Scales ctenoid, weakly attached;
Caudal fin distinctly forked;
Pectoral fin of moderate size, with the upper rays distinctly longer than those below.
A genus of silver batfishes with both species endemic to temperate Australian waters, one on the east coast and the other species in the southwest.
