Genus Chaunax


Summary:
Coffinfishes of the genus Chanuax have more lateral-line neuromasts, a broader space among the dermal spinules, narrower head (intersphenotic width), and usually one more fin ray in the dorsal and anal fins, than those of the genus Chaunacops.
