Distribution

Ashmore Reef, Timor Sea, Rosemary Island, Western Australia, to New Year Island, Northern Territory, and Middleton Reef to Elizabeth Reef, Tasman Sea. Elsewhere the species occurs in the tropical, Indo-west-central Pacific.
