Coral Sea off Dunk Island, Queensland, to off Norah Head, New South Wales; also off Lord Howe Island and Norfolk Island in the Tasman Sea. Elsewhere the species occurs in the west Pacific. |

Etymology |
The species is named in honour Soviet ichthyologist Zoya Krasyukova of the Russian Academy of Sciences. |
