Summary:
Pinkish red above, sometimes becoming paler below, with a broad reddish to brown stripe along the upper side running from the snout, above each eye and ending in a dark patch on the caudal peduncle, yellow stripes across the cheek, and pale pinkish fins.
Rarely seen, the Red Seaperch usually shelters upside-down beneath ledges.
