Distribution

Off Onslow, Western Australia, to Moreton Bay, Queensland. Elsewhere the species occurs in the tropical, Indo-west Pacific. Inhabits burrows in estuaries and coastal areas with muddy substrates.

Feeding

Omnivore - feeds on benthic invertebrates such as crustaceans.
