Recorded in Australia from Ashmore Reef, Timor Sea (12°15'S) and One Tree Island, QLD (23°30'S); also at Cocos (Keeling) Island, Indian Ocean. Elsewhere in the tropical, west-central Pacific. Inhabits sandy bottoms in intertidal and coral reef areas. |
