Distribution

Broughton Island to Montague Island, New South Wales, and eastern Victoria; also at Lord Howe Island and Norfolk Island in the Tasman Sea. the species also occurs in New Zealand.

Species Citation

Cymolutes sandeyeri Hector 1884, Transactions and Proceedings of the New Zealand Institute 16(25): 323. Type locality: Tiritiri Island, Auckland, New Zealand.
