Distribution

Recorded in Australia from Cartier Reef, WA and Darwin, NT (130°50'E), to off Townsville, QLD (18°49'S). Found elsewhere in the tropical, east-Indo-west Pacific.

Remarks

In Australia this species has previously been called Gobiopsis aporia, which is a junior synonym.
