Distribution

Found on the Northwest Shelf east of Rowley Shoals, West Australia; known to occur elsewhere in the Maldives.

Species Citation

Liopsaron insolitum McKay 1971, J. Roy. Soc. W. A. 54(2): 45, fig. 5. Type locality: off north-western Australia.
