Distribution

North-east of Exmouth, Western Australia (21 00'S, 114 39'E) in 250-258 m.

Colour

In preservative: body brown with slightly darker pigment dorsally; head dusky with dark pigment and a dark brown stripe from the eye to the rear of the gill cover. After five years of preservation body uniformly brownish with faint dark pigmentation dorsally.
