Distribution |
Near Palm Island and Low Isles, Queensland. Elsewhere the species occurs in the tropical, east-Indo-west Pacific. Inhabits deep muddy slopes in areas with strong currents, usually at depths below 15 m. Adults are solitary or occur in pairs, while juveniles form small groups. |
