Distribution

Great Australian Bight (35 49 S, 134 06 E), depth 2800-2852 m. Elsewhere the species occurs in the Indo-West Pacific: Mozambique Channel (western Indian Ocean), Coral Sea and Tasman Sea (western South Pacific).
