Summary:
A brownish cardinalfish with a yellowish head, a white margin on the rear of the spinous dorsal fin, and a small white spot on the upper body below the last dorsal-fin ray.

Found on the northern part of the Great Barrier Reef, Queensland. The species forms small groups amongst corals, sea urchins, crinoids and algae. |
