Summary:
A puller with alternating blue and yellow stripes, caudal fin with a broad yellow margin on the upper lobe and a broad black margin on the lower lobe, a yellow margin on the spinous dorsal fin and a blackish anal fin.

Scott Reef, WA (14°04'S), and Portlock Reef (9°43'S), Coral Sea, QLD to Solitary Islands (30°01'S), NSW with juveniles to Sydney, also Lord Howe Island Province, Tasman Sea; tropical, west-central Pacific.
